Jim Riggleman. So says Nationals.com and a status update on my Facebook page. They announced the baseball manager at the hockey game. This is what a Facebook friend wrote: Announced between periods of the hockey game: Jim Riggleman named manager of the Washington Nationals.
If the braintrust says this is the right move, I'm on board. In Mike We Trust has been the motto since Mike Rizzo was named GM and it will remain that way until he gives me reason to no longer feel that way.
What a day. A somewhat quiet offseason got noisy in a hurry.
